When Tears and Raindrops Collide

It is a solemn night and no one is awake but you
It’s not their fault, do not blame them
They tried everything they could to help you out and you pushed them away
By they, I mean we, and we were there
We are the people whose shoulders can be cried on
We listened, but did you?
And now you’re alone in the darkness of the outside world
Secretly, we are crying the tears that you could not
The clouds become grayer and the rainstorm begins
If you happen to go out in that rainstorm, look for us
We’re there and your tears are streaming down our faces
We could have stopped caring, but that would make us heartless
We tried not to cry and we’re sorry
Our eyes refused to hold back your tears…
When tears and raindrops collide
Well everybody, I apologize that it took so long to get this piece of crap posted, but it appears that I wasn't lying when I said that I was completely retarded. Anyway, this is a poem that I've actually had written for three years, and I sincerely apologize because it is written in an eighth-grader's perspective. I just thought I should post this first because it is the first poem that I thought was worth anything.

In dedication to a shattered pre-teen's martyrdom, I present When Tears and Raindrops Collide.

PS: I would like to formally thank Scarlettletters, xXShanicXx, and Shanic1234 for helping me through what has become one of many retarded moments in my lifetime. You may have to do it again someday, but for now at least, I feel accomplished.
Thanks again. :glomp:
